From the centre of Bad Ischl a trail leads along the esplanade to the hunting statue of the emperor. Follow the old railway bridge across Traun River to get back to Bad Ischl.

If you follow Engleiten road from the hunting statue of the emperor you get to the village of Lauffen. From Lauffen a trail leads along the right shore of Traun river back to Bad Ischl.
