Auf TripAdvisor finden Sie heraus was andere Reisende über Bad Ischl berichten. In Bad Ischl the manufacturing of Native scenes is a traditional craft of private persons. Many cribs, some are hundreds of years old, are privately owned and can be visited directly at the owner / builder in the period from December to February .
The 'Kripperl-Roas' starts usually at the Museum of Bad Ischl, where you can have a look at the famous Kalss crib (and others). Afterwards the journey goes on in a horse-drawn sleigh through the wintry snowy Bad Ischl to the various Native scenes in private houses. Fortified by a hearty traditional meal, the so called 'Holzknechtnocken' you come back to the center by sleigh.
