The Facts

Starting from the 'Hahnbaum' we pass through the Kurpark towards Kreutererbrücke. Walking along the causeway passing the house of Carl Michael Zierer and the Villa of Katharina Schratt direction Pfandl. The banks of the Ischl are the home of many indigenous trees and species. After about an hour we reach the sanctuaries "Mary at the street", the first drivers church in Austria. Back to Bad Ischl we go along the river Ischl (walkable on both sides of the river) or we take the "Elisabeth forest path". Starting at the inn "Gasthaus zum Pfandl "(bus stop), the path leads us through a beech forest, passing the Calvary Church at the center of Bad Ischl.
