Starting from Pfandl, one follow Zimmnitzbach brook until one gets to a small car park. There the ascent starts. Follow trail 816 that leads in numerous serpentines to Schüttalm hut past a small waterfall. More relaxed we cross Zimmnitzrücken saddleback to get to the summit of Leonsberg Mountain. We cross the ridge to Mitterzinken summit and descend to Gartenzinken summit (fantastic view of Lake Wolfgang, Pfandl and Bad Ischl). The descent is steep at first, then a less steep section in the forest - past Walkerskogel Mountain to Pfandl -follows.
