From the parking bay we go the street straight ahead uphill becoming a forrest trail after 150 m. At the third turn it divides at a signpost (013°37'29 “O - 47°43'43“ N – 610 m). We follow the left narrower path about 45 minutes up to the Saiherbachalm. We have a splendid view direction south. From the signpost (013°36'46 “O – 47°44'26“ N - 970 m) at the beginning of the Alpine grassland we keep going directly ahead for an already visible alpine hut. From there we go to the visible signpost (013°36'35 “O - 47°44'27“ N – 1031 m) with a crossroads beside an other hut. Short after the path increase to the left in a precipitous forest way. After 100 m it goes to the right in the wood. After about ½-hour walking time the wood thins out. A precipitous grassy place can be handled with the help of a installed rope. Now it is not far to the summit. Through a beech grove it goes up to the highest point (013°36'05 “O - 47°44'42“ N – 1368 m) with signpost and summit log. To the north you can see the Höllengebirge and to the east the Hohen Schrott. To the south thre is no view through the timber forest.
As we descend we follow the forest in northwest direction to the Schüttalm (013°35'26 “O - 47°45'03 N – 1166 m) which we reach after ½-hour walking time. There is only one small meadow with a signpost which shows the descent direction to us. Precipitously it goes down through the wood in the "Enge Zimnitz>". As soon as we reach the forest trail there are 1.5 km left to the parking bay in the Zimnitz. If we wnat to go back to our car in the district of Jainzen, it takes us about 40min to the starting point.
