Hike on an insignificant summit above the Hoisenrad

The Facts

From the parking space we have to walk back about 500 m up to the inn „Zum Salzberg“. There a signpost (013°38'44 “O - 47°41'21“ N – 586m) "Hoisenrad". We turn right and go along the brook on a street straight ahead trough the village. After the last house the way starts to ascend in the forrest. After about ½-hour walking time the steep path leads us to the meadow of the "Niederrad" (watch out for signposts!) . Soon a roadblock at the edge of the forest blocks us and we have to leave the meadow to the left and reach to the Emperor jubilee path (013°39'37 “O - 47°41'41“ N - 836m). Shortly after we reach a logging trail which we ignore. After 15 minutes we have arrived on the Hoisenrad (013°39'42 “O - 47°41'29” N - 969m). From the alp we briefly climb up to a logging trail. There we keep on the right and after about 50 m we leave the street in a left turn to the left. From here on it goes, mostly wet and slippery, up good to the Kolowratshöhe.
As we descend we return to the logging trail and follow the road 15min to the right and pass the Gschwendtalm leading to a crossroad at which moved several streets meet (013°39'55 “O - 47°40'58“ N – 968m). We take the way precipitously downward on the right (bad state) and reach after 10min again a logging trail. On this we go down 300 m to the left (not yet on the right!). Not before the crossroad with the signpost (013°39'38 “O - 47°40'47“ N – 872m) „Perneck 30min“ we turn right on a road. Partial on precipitous street it goes along, always next to the brook, to the mountain houses at the Salzberg and to the parking space of the starting point.
