The Salzkammergut is one of Austria's outstanding regions for mountain biking. Mountain biking is a popular leisure and holiday sport and the rising trend led to the founding of one of the most attractive centres of competence.
The range of offers is varied and extends from accomodation for cyclists in various price categories to an all-round care programme provided by our guides which includes guided individual and specific tours, technical training, service and bike taxis.
GPS data are available on our entire mountain bike route network and can be downloaded free of charge from www.biken.at . Several cycle companies offer GPS equipment for hire and are marked "GPS" in our catalogue of bike specialists (pages 10 and 11).
