In the heart of the Salzkammergut, in the "imperial city" Bad Ischl you find the Katrin cable car
The valley station is located only few minutes from the city centre - quickly accessible with the city bus. Suffiecient parking facilities are available for cars and coaches.
In only 12 minutes the cable car lifts the guests on the top of the Katrin mountain - the Ischler house mountain, with one of the best views over the Salzkammergut.
View and farsightedness from the Katrin summit are breathtakingly nice. Wolfgangsee, Traunsee, Hallstättersee, Dachsteinmassiv, Höllengebirge, Schafberg, a fantastic scenery as far as the eye can reach.
Besides, here you still find infos about the hiking trails on the Katrin and check the breathtaking panoramic view with the help of two Webcams.
