The new Via ferrata high above Bad Ischl offers a breathtaking view over five lakes and of course the Dachstein.
The 300-m-long Via ferrata goes along the up-hill edge but is never really difficult - you arrive directly underneath the summit cross.
During the tour you can see five lakes - Traunsee, Wolfgangsee, Nussensee, Schwarzensee, and with a good view also the Fuschlsee and at the descent the Hallstättersee and the marvellous Dachstein glacier.

Getting to the start of the Via ferrata: approx. 35 minutes, route ends directly at the Kaiser-Franz Josef summit cross. Equipment rental: Giga Sport in Bad Ischl.
