The museum holds historic motorbikes, cars, helicopters and even airplanes.
This technology museum is the result of a private initiative in the 90ies. It is located on the shores of Traun River. Some 300 exhibits (civil vehicles and devices, agriculture and military airplanes and aircrafts) are presented in a vast hall.
The representative cross-section of 8 decades includes bicycles with auxiliary engines, mopeds, scooters, military vehicles, engines, cars, fire engines, tractors, airplanes and model vehicles.
New exhibits are acquired continuously, thus the museum offers always novelties in the area of technology. The museum aims at displaying progress in technology, reviving memories of olden times and preserving collector pieces for future generations.
An extensive support program is offered during the year. The homey Museumstüberl restaurant offers local culinary delights and is a popular meeting place.
