Kaiservilla

The most famous summer guest of Bad Ischl, Emperor Franz Joseph, spend some 60 summers in the Biedermeier villa that is located in a big garden.

Anzenaumühle Adventure Museum

The time-honoured Anezenaumühle mill has now a new shiny appearance after renovation works. Visitors can expect unique evidence of typical regional architecture and way of life of days long gone.

Museum of Photography / Marmorschlössl

The so-called “Marmorschlössl” used to be the teahouse of Empress Elisabeth and holds today the Upper Austrian Museum of Photography!

Museum of the Town of Bad Ischl

Since 1989 the Museum of the Town of Bad Ischl has been accommodated in the former salt manufacture along the esplanade (1882 – 1982: Hotel Austria).

Lehárvilla

This prominent villa is located at the right shores of the Traun river and was home to the composer Franz Lehàr from 1910 to his death in 1948.

Museum of Vehicles, Technology and Aviation

The museum holds historic motorbikes, cars, helicopters and even airplanes.
