Excursion to the Dachstein, Hallstatt and Gosausee World Cultural Heritage Region
Starting in Bad Ischl we follow the shores of Hallstätter See Lake. After about 30 minutes we get to Hallstatt. We explore this idyllic town by foot and enjoy 7,000 years of history. Small crafts shops catch our attention, just like the World Cultural Heritage Museum and the Beinhaus Skull Museum.
At 3:45 p.m. we continue to Gosausee Lake and enjoy a walk and the view of the Dachstein glacier.

Salzkammergut Round Trip – Traunsee Lake, Attersee Lake, Lake Mondsee, Krottensee Lake, Wolfgangsee Lake
Starting in Bad Ischl we drive to Traunsee Lake. We stop in Traunkirchen to visit the convent. After having seen Schloss Ebenzweier castle and Schloss Württemberg castle everyone can have a look around Seeschloss Orth Castle, known from a famous TV serial. Past Taferl Klaussee Lake we get to Attersee Lake and then to Lake Mondsee, where we visit the convent church. We continue to the Mozart village of St. Gilgen. We pass Wolfgangsee Lake and return to Bad Ischl.

Excursion to St. Wolfgang incl. boat trip to St. Gilgen
Visit the place that is celebrated in many songs and is famous for the winged altarpiece by Michael Pacher and the film “Weiße Rössl”, a singspiel that has been translated into 17 languages and has been staged more than 1,000 times. Its creators Ralph Benatzky, Robert Stolz and Robert Gilbert successfully declared their love for Wolfgangsee Lake in a unique way. At 3:15 p.m. we take the boat to St. Gilgen and enjoy the view of the mountains surrounding the lake.

Every Thursday (8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) – “The Ultimate Summit”
Day Trip to Großglockner Mountain (only from May to September)
The roof of Austria is at an altitude of 3,798m. We get to the summit via the alpine road which has allowed for great mountain experiences since 1935. On the way to the top we pass all vegetation zones. Along the Glocknerstraße road numerous vantage points, six educational trails and two information centres provide a state-of-the-art educational experience with a difference. If you want to enjoy high-alpine nature to the full you shouldn’t miss out on this trip.

Excursion to the Styrian Salzkammergut Area (Bad Aussee-Grundlsee Lake-Toplitzsee Lake)
Starting from Bad Ischl we get to the “4-star landscape” between Altaussee and Grundlsee Lake which offers many opportunities in all seasons: breath-taking mountain spring with thousands of daffodils, crystal-clear lakes, fog-free fall time for hiking, following the tracks of writers and composers like Hugo von Hofmannsthal, Friedrich Torberg or Richard Strauß.
We visit Bad Aussee, continue to Grundlsee Lake and hike from Gössl to the legendary Toplitzsee Lake.
