'Kaisermesse' - emperor's mass

Every year on August 18th to the Emperor's birthday the 'Kaisermesse' - emperor's mass - is celebrated in the Catholic parish church in Bad Ischl.

Thousands of visitors line the streets when members of the Habsburg family, members of former aristocratic families, and delegations of the tradition regiments from the former crown lands attend the mass.
