”Liachtbratl” Monday is celebrated in Bad Ischl on the first Monday after September 29th (= St. Michael’s). “Liachtbratl” Monday is the day on which one has to use artificial light for working for the first time.

On the occasion of “Liachtbratl” Monday persons who celebrate a big-o are honoured. In the mornings a traditional photo session takes place at the main stairs in front of the Congress centre and the Theatre House in the Kurpark in Bad Ischl.
