Auf TripAdvisor finden Sie heraus was andere Reisende über Bad Ischl berichten. On June 19, 2011 the starting signal for Austria’s steepest fell run is given. It is held for the 14th time and again the local and international running elite will fight for a place at the podium.
Every year the international and national fell running elite meets in Katrin. It is hard to imagine this race without names like Helmut Schmuck, Markus Kröll or Carina Lilge-Leutner, as well as the many national racers and the relay teams. Every year anew the Katrin Run is a true challenge even for the professional runners.
Some 300 starters meet this challenge – with good reason. The unique ambience of Katrinalm pasture, the finishing area is at one of the most beautiful vantage points of the Salzkammergut area, the fantastic general set-up for the athletes, and last but not least the enthusiastic and cheering spectators lining the route make the Katrin Fell run a top running event.
In 2011 again the Bad Ischl Katrin Fell Run in the heart of the Salzkammergut area is going to be a festival for runners and spectators alike!
