Every year on the 15th of August thousands of guests visit the Kaiserfest at the Ischl Esplanade to experience the colorful program underneath chestnut trees.
The 'Bürgerkapelle Bad Ischl' was founded in 1870 took part at the annual festivities of the Emperors birthday from 1871 on. As can be seen from the chronicle of the 'Bürgerkapelle Bad Ischl' , the band was playing on a boat on the River Traun, in the front of the fountain at Schröpferplatz or in the pavilion at the Esplanade.

03.30 p.m - Concert of the Spa Orchestra
04.30 p.m - Children group of the association of conservation of mountain costumes "D 'Ischler and Smurf orchestra, a youth orchestra of the Bürgerkapelle
06.30 and 08.00 p.m- "3 Hallodri" with folk music, pop tunes and oldies.
07.00 p.m - Concert of the band Mitterweissenbach
09.15 p.m - Concert of the Bürgerkapelle Bad Ischl
