Wine festival in Bad Ischl

The wine festival in Bad Ischl is the first choice for wine connoisseurs.

The festival is held for the 11th time this year and takes place in the middle of the Spa Park right in front of the splendid Congress & Theatre House.

From 3rd to 5th June, 2010 some 25 vintagers from home and abroad gather to offer wine tastings. The society for traditional costumes „D’Ischler“, their youth group, the brass band “Bürgermusik“, folk music bands and the Spa Orchestra frame this festival as supporting events and create a convivial atmosphere.
The catering of the Congress & Theatre House and the local bakery “Maislinger“ provide sustenance: daily freshly baked bread from the wood fired oven and special delicacy which go nicely with wine, but also coffee and pastries.
